Congressman Welch will host the 30th annual Congressional Art Competition in May 2011. Founded by former Senator Jim Jeffords in 1981, the competition is a unique forum for Vermont's high school artists to showcase their talent and abilities. The winning piece of artwork from Vermont will hang in the U.S. Capitol for a year.
