Pension Protection
When employers promise workers good pensions and health care in exchange for a lifetime of hard work, workers have a right to expect that these benefits will be there when they retire. Yet workers on Minnesota’s Iron Range have suffered from some of the most egregious problems plaguing our nation’s pension system. As a member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pension Committee and the Senate Special Committee on Aging, I will work on behalf of America’s pensioners and support legislation that will strongly protect the benefits promised to America’s workers.
