In 1944, Joe Bartlett (second row, second from right) graduated from the House Page School. The ceremonies were held in the Ways and Means Committee Room and attended by First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt.

Joe Bartlett in the U.S. Marine Corps
After graduating from the House Page School, Joe Bartlett joined the U.S. Marine Corps. He served tours of duty in World War II and in the Korean War.
