Washington, DC Tour Tickets

Free tickets are required during peak season (the first Monday in March through the last Friday in August) and are available every morning at 8 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. We offer same-day tickets only and the booth will remain open until all tickets for the day have been distributed. Lines form early and tickets go quickly, usually by 9 a.m. The Visitor Center and BEP Store are still open to those who are unable to receive a ticket for the tour.

The ticket booth is located on Raoul Wallenberg Place (formerly 15th Street). When it is time for your tour, please proceed to the Tour Entrance on 14th Street. There is a maximum of four tickets allowed per person.

Tour operators with valid identification are allowed a maximum of 10 tickets per tour and 25 tickets total per day. If you arrive with a group of over 10 people, your group will not be accommodated unless you have a reservation. No tickets will be given out at the ticket booth for large groups.

Groups

School Group/Group tours with over 10 visitors MUST schedule tours in advance with the tour office. Please call the Tour Scheduler at (202) 874-2330 or 1 (866) 874-2330. Group reservations are free and must be submitted by faxing the BEP's group reservation request form to (202) 874-6331. The forms are available in MS Word and PDF formats below:

There is a minimum requirement of 10 people and a maximum of 50 people allowed per tour. Requests are processed on a first-come, first-served basis, and may be submitted from two weeks to 12 months in advance of the visit date. It is highly recommended that groups who wish to visit during the spring and summer months complete their reservations well in advance of their visit date due to high demand during that period.

Depending on availability, groups may choose from tours running every 15 minutes, Monday through Friday, beginning at 11:00 a.m. and ending at 12:15 p.m. A confirmation letter (fax or mail) serves as the group's timed-entry reservation. It is sent at the conclusion of the reservation process.
