Washington,
Mar 19 -

Dear Madam Secretary:
I am writing to express my strong concern with your recent statements regarding the relationship between the United States and Israel. Rhetoric condemning Israel and threatening the U.S.-Israel relationship is not only irresponsible, it is an affront to the shared democratic principles, strategic interests, and commitment to peace in the region.
As you know, the U.S.-Israel alliance is of tremendous importance. Israel is a strong ally and a democracy in an unstable region with many countries that are hostile toward our nation. Our national security depends on a strong foreign policy that does not isolate our allies or embolden the enemies of the United States.
I strongly urge President Obama's administration to continue America's strong relationship with Israel by working closely to correct any issues between the two countries. Thank you very much for your consideration.
