Minnesota has a strong, proud tradition of being a national leader in responsible environmental stewardship and renewable energy development. We are home to over 10,000 lakes, the headwaters of the Mississippi River, and stunning national forests and parks. Enjoying the outdoors, whether canoeing in the boundary waters or biking through the dozens of bike trails in the Twin Cities and around the state, has always been central to Minnesota values. Responsible management and stewardship of our natural lands and waters is a priority for me.
