CONGRESSMAN BRAD ELLSWORTH

As the 8th District's Congressman, Brad Ellsworth is continuing his career-long commitment to put Hoosiers first. In Congress, he is a member of the fiscally conservative Blue Dog Coalition and is working to reduce waste, fraud and abuse of taxpayer dollars. He also sits on the Armed Services, Agriculture, and Small Business Committees.

Before coming to Congress, Brad spent 24-years in the Vanderburgh County Sheriff's office protecting the people of southwest Indiana. He was twice decorated for heroism in the line of duty and graduated from the FBI National Academy. In 1998, Brad was elected Vanderburgh County Sheriff, where he completed two terms. Brad was born and raised in southern Indiana. He grew up in Evansville; attending University of Southern Indiana and Indiana State University. Brad and his wife, Beth, reside in Evansville. Together they have a daughter, Andrea.

**Please Note: In 2009, the House Appropriations Committee announced new transparency reforms for the appropriations process.  As a part of these new rules, every Member of Congress will now list on their website all projects they request of the Appropriations Committee, not just the ones that are secured.**

Instructions for Submitting Your Request

2. Submit an electronic copy of a one-page letter signed by a representative of the requesting organization for each project request (ex: city, county, organization) to EllsworthsProjectRequests@mail.house.govThis e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .  Any requesting organization headquartered outside of the 8th Congressional District of Indiana must provide a letter of support from a local official or entity.

3. Submission of both documents is required by close of business Thursday, February 11, 2010.

4. Please adhere to the length requirements for descriptions on the form.  Feel free to submit additional information separately.
