Slaughter Announces Research Grant for University of Rochester
$142,000 Awarded for Research of Oral Diseases and Disorders

Washington - Rep. Louise Slaughter (D-Fairport), Ranking Member of the House Rules Committee, is pleased to announce that the University of Rochester is set to receive a grant of $142, 000 from the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research.

The grant will help fund research efforts at the University related to oral diseases and disorders.

"This is another great opportunity for the University of Rochester," Rep. Slaughter commented.  She continued, "I hope this well deserved grant will advance our local scientific community and help the University expand its research capabilities, providing more good paying jobs to the region."
