Serrano’s Financial Services Appropriations Bill Passes House
Yesterday, by a vote of 219 to 208, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 3170, the Financial Services and General Government Appropriations bill for fiscal year 2010. Congressman Serrano, who is the Chairman of the Subcommittee that wrote this bill, has carefully guided its passage through Subcommittee, the full Appropriations Committee, and yesterday through the House. When the Senate completes its version of this legislation, the final conference report, agreed to by the House and the Senate, will need to be passed on the floor of the House and the Senate and signed by the President.
