Serrano’s Bill Passes Subcommittee
On Thursday, Congressman Serrano's Financial Services and General Government Appropriations bill for fiscal year 2010 passed unanimously out of subcommittee. The bill funds important consumer protection agencies such as the Federal Trade Commission, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, and the Securities and Exchange Commision, as well as the Department of the Treasury and the Federal JudiciaryThe next step for the bill will be consideration by the full Appropriations Committee after the Fourth of July recess.
