The Chairman wishes to inform Members that the Committee on Finance will meet in Open Executive Session immediately following the noon vote on the Senate Floor on Wednesday, June 30, 2010, in the President’s Room, S-216 of the Capitol, to consider S.J. Res. 29, a joint resolution approving the renewal of import restrictions contained in the Burmese Freedom and Democracy Act of 2003; and to favorably report the nominations of Francisco Sanchez, of Florida, to be an Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade; and Richard Sorian, of New York, to be an Assistant Secretary of Health and Human Services.
