Price Supports and Other Federal Assistance
Agriculture forms the backbone of Minnesota's economy, and federal policy must bolster the livelihoods of hardworking family farmers in Minnesota. A strong, stable food supply is critical for the health and prosperity of Minnesotans, Americans, and people around the world. That's why I support strong policies to improve the lives of Minnesota's farmers to help ensure that farmers earn a fair price for their products and have strong safety nets and insurance in place as markets and natural conditions fluctuate. Any federal agriculture policies must have the best interests of Minnesota's family farmers in mind.
