Linder Receives Academy of General Dentistry’s 2010 Legislator of the Year Ward
(4/20/2010)The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) presented Representative Linder their annual “Legislator of the Year” award for his unique and outstanding role as one of only two dentists serving in the U.S. Congress. He was honored for spearheading efforts to highlight the importance of oral health care issues for general health and for emphasizing the importance of small businesses and small business owners for the nation’s economy. Founded in 1952, the AGD is the world’s second-largest dental association with more than 35,000 members and is the only trade organization dedicated exclusively to the interests of general dentistry.
