Flag Requests

Many New Mexicans request flags from my office for ceremonial or other purposes. These flags can be flown over the Capitol Building on a date you specify.

To request a flag from my office you can either submit a request online or download a flag request form and mail it in. Both methods, however, require you to send a personal check or money order for the cost of the flag.

Please note: my office can accept flag requests only from New Mexico residents. If you are not from New Mexico, please contact the senators from your state to request a flag.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Please allow for 6-8 weeks for our office to process your flag request especially if you would like your flag flown on a specific date.  Our mail process takes several weeks because of the Senate security process, and the flag office requires 2 weeks to fulfill a request. Once the request is filled, flags are mailed out regular postal mail and takes 1 to 2 weeks for delivery. If you need your flag mailed via FedEx or UPS, please call our office at 202-224-5521.
