Statement of Disbursements Archive
On June 3, 2009, Speaker Nancy Pelosi requested the Statement of Disbursements (SOD) be published online, as part of her continued commitment to increase governmental transparency and accountability.
Since 1964 Congress has been required by law to publish the SOD, which is a quarterly public report of all receipts and expenditures for Members of Congress, Committees, Leadership, House Officers and Offices of the House of Representatives. The book is delivered in three volumes and is over 3000 pages. The Chief Administrative Officer of the House publishes the SOD within 60 days of the end of the quarter based upon the following schedule: January–March, April–June, July–September and October–December.
