I am proud to recommend qualified students for positions in the country’s service academies. Applicants must live in the Ninth Congressional District and be between 17 and 23 years old by July 1 of the year of the expected enrollment. Applicants must not be married and must have no legal obligation to support dependents. 

If you plan to attend one of these academies, you should begin the preliminary application process during your junior year. If you want to request a recommendation, please submit that request to my district office, along with all the necessary materials, between March 1 of your junior year and Dec. 31 of your senior year (the earlier the better).
