The Committee granted, by a vote of 7-3, a rule providing for consideration of the Senate amendment to the House amendment to the Senate amendment to H.R. 4213, the Unemployment Compensation Extension Act of 2010.  The rule makes in order a motion offered by the chair of the Committee on Ways and Means that the House concur in the Senate amendment to the House amendment to the Senate amendment to H.R. 4213.  The rule provides one hour of debate on the motion equally divided and controlled by the chair and ranking minority member of the Committee on Ways and Means.  The rule waives all points of order against consideration of the motion except those arising under clause 10 of rule XXI.  The rule provides that the Senate amendment shall be considered as read.
