  • Assistance with the Federal Government
    • Senator Lugar maintains a core staff of experts in dealing with the federal government. If you need assistance with Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, passports, visas, or any other program managed by the federal government, please visit the Assistance with the Federal Government page.
  • Internship & Page Information
    • Interested in interning in Senator Lugar's Washington, D.C., Foreign Relations Committee, Indianapolis or Fort Wayne office? Visit the Intern Information page for details and applications. High school students interested in applying to be a Page should visit the Page Program page.
  • U.S. Service Academy Nominations
    • Members of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives may nominate applicants who meet eligibility requirements established by law. Senators nominate from applicants throughout the entire state, while Representatives nominate from applicants living in their congressional districts.   • Order a U.S. flag flown over the U.S. Capitol Building
    • Senator Lugar can request to have American flags flown over the U.S. Capitol for Hoosiers. These high quality flags are either 100% cotton or nylon and come in 3'x5' and 5'x8' sizes.   • Visit Washington, D.C.
    • Planning a visit to Washington, D.C.? Visit the Tour Information page and complete the tour request form to request a "Welcome to Washington" booklet describing the museums, monuments and memorials and pamphlets with information on touring the U.S. Capitol Building, White House and more.
  • Constituent Handbooks & Resources

  • Veterans History Project
    • Senator Lugar has partnered with the Library of Congress to help preserve the oral histories of Indiana veterans. This program will ensure these valuable stories are preserved for future generations of authors, historians, students and other interested individuals to use and experience.     • Senator Lugar maintains a Special Projects Staff that provides a variety of services and support to Hoosier communities. In addition to offering individual constituent service, Senator Lugar provides direct assistance to local elected officials, citizen groups and non-profit organizations in their interaction with the federal government.
