Rep. Peter King jokes that he can't be going around half-crocked because he might run into the President and that might fulfill an awful stereotype....See the Politico interview by clicking here.

King, who blasted the Obama administration at his St. Patrick Day's fundraiser Saturday, attended both this morning's breakfast at the Naval Observatory hosted by VP Joe Biden and featuring the Taoiseach of Ireland Brian Cowen, and at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's Friends of Ireland Luncheon at the Capitol.

Though King might have been on his best behavior, he sent this intriguing tweet after lunch, at about 2:20 this afternoon: "Returned from lunch hosted by Nancy Pelosi 4 Pres. Obama & Prime Minister of Ireland. I got into a friendly wrestling match w/Rahm Emanuel."

At least the boxer didn't throw punches.

Maybe they really did wrestle. Here's King chief of staff Kevin Fogarty's elaboration on the tweet:

"At the Speaker's luncheon, the Congressman, while in conversation with a Northern Irish politician, received a punch to his shoulder and a knee into the back of his.

"He turned around to a smiling Rahm Emanuel.

"King told him, 'You are taking a lot of hits, do you want me to say something nice about you?'

" Rahm responded, 'No, I don't want anyone to say anything good about me!' "
