Shenanigans: King: kinda pissy about Scarborough's new found rockstarness

When both Joe Scarborough AND Rep. Peter King are silenced at the same time, you know somethings up.
Silencing either morning show personality Scarborough, or Congressman King is a feat that the end of the world itself wouldn't be able to accomplish. But yesterday King went on Scarborough's radio show, "I was worried Mika died of pneumonia yesterday I had to see if she was OK" King told us this morning. ("Morning Joe" aired live outside the White House yesterday.) So, Scarborough and King are talking - the usual schtick, "you can have civility in politics even if you don't agree" blah, blah, blah, and then King hears Scarborough arguing with another guy for a few seconds and then -- silence. Everything goes dead.

Turns out, Scarborough was spreading peanut butter on a bagel and it wound up on the soundboard- or key board, or something - causing the show to crash. "I would just like to point out what an unscrupulous guy Scarborough is," King teases. "I'm outraged. Enraged. Not even mumbling," he says, drawing off of today's story we wrote about King> (See here.) "This is a serious breach of protocol," crowed that rascally Irishman.

Later, when King ran into Scarborough in his new found "celebrity" on the House floor before the Obama address, Scarborough told him it was even worse than the original story. He wasn't just trying to clean the peanut butter off the board - he was trying to eat it off. "He didn't even apologize," King says a mock-horrified tone. Worse, "he was too busy talking to Loretta Sanchez, they were all hanging around him. He was holding court."

Someone seems to be jealous. Moreover, King spews: "He was lucky to be....in Congress and now he returns as a rockstar."

And Obama's speech? "it was very..... clever is too trite a word to use; what he said, 95% of people have to agree with the way he worded it."
