The privacy policy of the United States Senate Website (http://www.senate.gov/security.html), which hosts this page, applies to my website as well. This policy governs the Internet or Web information gathering
and dissemination practices of my office.

The United States Senate Web Site collects information for statistical purposes.
This government computer system uses software programs to create summary
statistics, which are used for such purposes as assessing what information is of
most and least interest, determining technical design specifications, and
identifying system performance or problem areas.

For site security purposes and to ensure that this service remains available to
all users, the United States Senate computer system employs software programs to
monitor network traffic and identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change
information, or otherwise cause damage.

What Information Do We Collect?
My office provides several online forms for visitors to request tour information
or to have flags flown over the U.S. Capitol. Personal information requested may
include name, address, and telephone number(s).

What Do We Do with This Information?
The information voluntarily provided by visitors and collected on this site is
used only to verify your residency, to process your request, and to send a reply
through the U.S. Postal Service.
