The Borough of Wallington is located in Southern Bergen County and has about 11,500 living there. Wallington is home to the New Jersey Grizzlies professional inline hockey team, as well as Samuel Nelkin County Park, where many residents enjoy recreational activities organized by the town.
Wallington was officially incorporated in 1894 and has long been a historically important site.Many Native American artifacts have been discovered in the areas along the Passaic and Saddle Rivers, which border the borough, and are currently displayed and preserved by the town and its historians. General George Washington also led his famous retreat from the British through the borough during the Revolutionary War.
