Maywood, one of 70 towns that comprise Bergen County, is home to approximately 9,500 residents. Families benefit from New Jersey’s quality public school system, with a “National Blue Ribbon” elementary school among Maywood’s top features.

The town also boasts a historic landmark: the Maywood Train Station. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this local landmark was restored in recent years by the all-volunteer, non-profit Maywood Station Historical Committee. The Committee now operates the historic site as the Maywood Station Museum.
