(Bristol, PA) – Today, Congressman Patrick Murphy (D- PA, 8th District) released the following statement on expected flooding in Bucks County:

“This weekend, communities along the Delaware River and Neshaminy Creek are expected to face severe flooding from heavy rains in our region. My office is working closely with the Bucks public safety community and the National Weather Service to provide citizens with the most up-to-date information on flooding developments. I urge everyone along the Delaware and the Neshaminy to take necessary precautions, and to contact my office or any of the following emergency agencies for further assistance.”

Monitoring the Delaware River and Neshaminy Creek
The National Weather Service has tools available to monitor the current and projected levels of the river. Gauges are located on the Delaware River at Riegelsville and Trenton and along the Neshaminy Creek in Langhorne.
