I was very blessed to have met Mr. Kennedy in 1988. He was in San Diego. I will never forget that moment, He was truly a special Person. We have lost someone special. The Senate will never be the same. Who will fight for us?
It is at this time we should continue to honor Senator Kennedy's legacy as an advocate on behalf of our children. As a parent of the nations second largest school district, LAUSD I look to the leaders to continue his efforts to strengthen NCLB and to honor parents by making District Advisory Committee a must in the federal education code
He was a good man. May he rest in peace.
