Seeks Input On Jobs, Economy And Health Care

Bradenton, Florida -- Congressman Vern Buchanan (FL-13) announced today that he will hold a town hall meeting on jobs, the economy and health care in Lakewood Ranch on Saturday, May 22, 2010.

“Jobs and the economy are the most important issue,” said Buchanan. “Congress needs to focus our efforts now on putting people back to work. I want to listen to the people and get their feedback, ideas and suggestions. I also welcome input on the sweeping health care bill recently passed by Congress and signed by the President.”

This is the eighth in a series of town meetings Buchanan has been holding throughout the district this year to give his constituents a chance to express their views on federal issues

Buchanan's town meeting will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Lakewood Ranch Town Hall, 8175 Lakewood Ranch Blvd. (Map below) The doors will open at 10:00 a.m.
