Buchanan To Hold Palmetto Town Hall PDF Print

Seeks Input On Jobs, Economy, And  Health Care

Palmetto, Florida -- Congressman Vern Buchanan (FL-13) announced today that he will hold a town hall meeting on jobs, the economy and health care in Palmetto on Saturday, May 8, 2010.

“Jobs and the economy are the most important issue,” said Buchanan. “Congress needs to focus our efforts now on putting people back to work. I want to listen to the people and get their feedback, ideas and suggestions. I also welcome input on the sweeping health care bill recently passed by Congress and signed by the President.”

This is the sixth in a series of town meetings Buchanan will hold throughout the district this year to give his constituents a chance to express their views on federal issues.

Buchanan's town meeting will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Palmetto Elementary School, 834 7th Street West Palmetto, FL. (Map Attached Below) The doors will open at 10:00 a.m.
