Buchanan To Hold Venice Town Hall PDF Print

Seeks Input On Jobs, Economy and Health Care

Venice, Florida -- Congressman Vern Buchanan (FL-13) announced today that he will hold a town hall meeting on jobs, the economy and health care in Venice on Saturday, March 27, 2010.

“The House has passed a sweeping health care bill that cuts Medicare, increases taxes, and does nothing to lower the cost of health care,” said Buchanan. “We need to refocus our efforts now on creating jobs and restoring economic growth. I want to listen to the people and get their feedback, ideas and suggestions.”

This is the fourth in a series of town meetings Buchanan will hold throughout the district this year to give his constituents a chance to express their views on federal issues.

Buchanan's town meeting will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Venice Community Center, 326 S. Nokomis Ave., Venice. (Map it) The doors will open at 10:00 a.m.
