Sarasota, Florida -- Congressman Vern Buchanan (FL-13) announced today that he will hold a town hall meeting on jobs, the economy and health care in Sarasota on Saturday, March 13, 2010.

“We need to create jobs and restore economic growth,” said Buchanan. “We also need to make health care more affordable without raising taxes or expanding government control. I want to listen to the people and get their ideas and suggestions.”

This is the third in a series of town meetings Buchanan will hold throughout the district this year to give his constituents a chance to express their views on federal issues.

Buchanan's town meeting will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Riverview High School. The doors will open at 10:00 a.m. The School is located at 1 Ram Way, Sarasota, Florida 34231(Click here for a map) .
