Seeks Input On Jobs, Economy And Health Care

Bradenton, Florida -- Congressman Vern Buchanan (FL-13) announced today that he will hold a town hall meeting on jobs, the economy and health care in East Manatee County on Saturday, February 27, 2010.

“We need to create jobs and restore economic growth,” said Buchanan. “We also need to make health care more affordable without raising taxes or expanding government control. I want to listen to the people and get their ideas and suggestions.”

This is the second in a series of town meetings Buchanan will hold throughout the district this year to give his constituents a chance to express their views on federal issues.

Buchanan's town meeting will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Braden River High School. The doors will open at 10:00 a.m. The school is located at 6545 SR 70 East, Bradenton, Florida 34203.
