Sen. Franken Meets with Local Business Leaders in Grand Rapids

Sen. Franken joined local officials and business leaders at the groundbreaking for the Itasca Economic Development Corporation Industrial Park recently in Grand Rapids. Sen. Franken supported a $1.75 million federal grant for the project which is expected to create 175 jobs and produce $45 million in private investment.
Sen. Franken recently went to the floor of the Senate to speak in favor of the job creating governement programs, like the Economic Development Administration grant.
