US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations

Internships

An internship with the Senate Foreign Relations Committee is an excellent opportunity for college students or recent graduates to work first hand on issues of foreign policy and to learn about the legislative and political process. Internships last for a full semester and range from full-time to one or two days per week, depending on the intern’s schedule.

Though internships with the Committee are highly selective, we encourage you to apply no matter your background, as we are looking for a diversity of experiences and interests.

To apply for an internship with the Majority Office, please submit a cover letter, resume, and a brief writing sample to Democrat_interns@foreign.senate.gov. The fall deadline is July 1 and the spring deadline is Nov. 15.
