Ranking Member Bachus announced today that Congressman Erik Paulsen will join Republicans on the Financial Services Committee for the 111th Congress.

Ranking Member Bachus said, "Erik Paulsen has the crucial expertise in the business world, which is precisely what this committee needs to restore our economy, create jobs and return the government to sound fiscal principles. We look forward to having his experience, energy and ideas on our committee."

One of Congressman Paulsen's principal areas of focus during his time in the Minnesota House of Representatives was on fostering job creation. This is his first term in Congress.
