Linder Awarded “Friend of the Shareholder” from American Shareholders Association
(6/26/2008)The American Shareholders Association (ASA) has recognized John Linder as a “Friend of the Shareholder” for voting to lower taxes on investments and promote free trade. John received a 100% rating for voting for legislation such as death tax relief, the tax limitation amendment, tax cuts, and an economic stimulus package that cut taxes, extended unemployment benefits, and provided a health insurance tax credit. The American Shareholders Association was founded to give a voice to the millions of Americans who own stock or have a 401(k) plan. The ASA believes that the American investor, who invests their hard-earned money to secure a prosperous future for our nation, is overtaxed by income taxes, capital gains taxes, and then finally death taxes.
