Welcome to the web site for Ohio’s 8th Congressional District! From the thriving suburbs and neighborhoods and Butler and Montgomery counties to the rich farmland of Darke, Mercer, Miami and Preble counties, the 8th District is one of the most dynamic in the State of Ohio. I am proud to serve my friends and neighbors.
This site highlights some of the issues I am working on in Congress to help create a smaller, more accountable federal government. As House Republican Leader, I am leading efforts to rein in federal spending, restore trust between the American people and their government, reform our schools, ensure greater retirement security and lower the tax burden for American families, businesses and farmers.
I am also committed to ensuring that our troops have the resources and equipment necessary to win the Global War on Terror. We must remain vigilant against the radical jihadists that want to destroy our way of life.
