Washington, DC – On September 11, 2010, Rep. Steve Rothman (D-NJ) spoke at the Bergen County annual memorial held to remember the innocent victims who lost their lives and honor the first responders who courageously rushed to help on September 11, 2001. The ceremony was held at Overpeck County Park in Leonia, where Rep. Rothman urged citizens to never forget the nearly 3000 individuals – including 147 from Bergen County – murdered, those who perpetrated their heinous killing, and the acts of heroism on that fateful day.
