Washington, DC – On July 28, 2010, the New Jersey chapter of the Communications Workers of America (CWA) thanked Representative Steve Rothman (NJ-9) for fighting to protect jobs and helping improve our economy. Specifically, they thanked him for working to protect jobs and supporting expanded high speed Internet access. Broadening internet access is important for economic growth, further job creation, and competitiveness worldwide. New Jersey’s CWA chapter represents 70,000 working families – including more than 55,000 state, county, municipal workers.
