Washington, DC — On Wednesday, June 9, 2010, Congressman Steve Rothman (D-NJ) welcomed eighth graders from the Maywood Avenue School in Maywood, New Jersey to Washington, DC. Meeting on the steps of the U.S. Capitol, the students asked, among other questions, what the Congressman likes about being in the U.S. House of Representatives and about what he does each day in Congress.

The Congressman also arranged for the students to tour the inside of the U.S. Capitol. Schools that wish to arrange tours for students visiting DC are invited to contact Rep. Rothman’s Washington, DC office at (202) 225-5061.
