Washington, DC - On May 24, 2010, senior citizens in North Arlington, NJ thanked Congressman Steve Rothman, a member of the House Appropriations Committee, for the $95,000 in federal funds he secured for the Borough of North Arlington. These funds were allocated to purchase a new bus to help transport senior citizens to and from events at the North Arlington Senior Center and the surrounding area. The new seniors’ bus replaces a vehicle that was more than 11 years old and will ensure safer travel for seniors.
