As part of the 95th Armenian Genocide Commemoration, students from the Hovnanian School in New Milford, NJ visited Washington, DC to thank Congressman Steve Rothman (NJ-9) for his leadership in the fight to recognize the Armenian genocide. As a member of the Congressional Caucus on Armenian issues, Congressman Rothman has been a reliable stalwart in not only his efforts regarding U.S. recognition of the Armenian genocide, but his work in securing more than $800 million in U.S. aid to Armenia since joining the House Foreign Operations Appropriations Subcommittee in 2001.
