Thank you for your interest in participating in the Senate Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry Committee Internship program. This program is designed to give students an opportunity to work on a variety of issues that fall within the Committee’s jurisdiction.

The program helps interns learn about the federal legislative process, develop writing skills and increase communication skills. Interns will have the opportunity to assist with extensive research projects, prepare briefing memos, compose constituent correspondence, attend hearings and, perform other legislative and administrative duties. Due to budget constraints, the internship is offered on a volunteer basis only. Full and part-time internships are available, and class schedules will be taken into account.

Please send all materials to the attention of Ashlee Nicole Johnson. A completed application consists of the following: application, resume, writing sample and three letters of recommendation.
