Barrasso to Medical Students: Don’t Believe Everything the Administration Promises You

This September, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius wrote to American medical students about how the new health care law will benefit both doctors and their patients. Secretary Sebelius promised: “Many of you and your siblings are undoubtedly under the age of 26. Under the Affordable Care Act, you and your brothers or sisters will now be able to stay on your families’ insurance policies until you are 26.” Only three months later, the Secretary’s promise has already been broken.
