The Department of Energy has a very useful webpage where consumers can find information about:
- Tax credits on insulation, heating systems, windows, biomass stoves and more—30% of the cost up to $1,500.
- Resources for financing buying or remodeling for energy-efficiency.
- Applying for the federal Weatherization Assistance Program.
- Information on energy-efficient appliances, lighting, and practices.
- Tools you can use to see how much energy-efficiency might save you.

Here you’ll find a warehouse of incentives, rebates and programs offered by the state to help home and business owners conserve energy and save money, including:
- Cash incentives for businesses to purchase energy-saving equipment.
- Getting up to $3,000 for making your home more efficient.
- Rebates for buying energy-efficient appliances: $75 for refrigerators, $50 for washing machines, and $25 for air conditioners.
