United States Flags
One of the services I provide to Hawaii constituents is the opportunity to have a flag flown on your behalf over the United States Capitol. You can obtain a flag by filling out the request form below and mailing it, along with proper payment, to my office. (I regret that my office is unable to accept requests through the telephone, fax, or e-mail.) A flag certificate will accompany the flag, verifying that the flag was flown over the U.S. Capitol, as well as the date the flag was flown, and optional information you may submit via the form (such as the name of the recipient and/or the occasion for the flag to be flown).
The Flag Office estimates a three week turn around time. The flag and certification should be received within three weeks from the flying date. Please allow four to six weeks for processing and delivery. Occasionally, meaningful days are selected for flying, or often, the requester will ask that the flag be flown on the earliest date. Flags are flown 365 days a year, except on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.

Hawaii State Flags
Hawaii State flags may also be purchased through my office. Rules prohibit flying State flags over the U.S. Capitol, but your Hawaii State flag may be flown over the Hawaii State Capitol if you wish to contact the Governor with your request. The price for a Hawaii State flag differs from a U.S. flag, and the price is subject to vary from month to month. I advise contacting my DC office at (202) 224-3934 to obtain the most accurate prices for a Hawaii State flag. Please use the flag form below to request a Hawaii State Flag after the price has been verified. Check or money order should be made payable to “Keeper of Stationery.”
