WASHINGTON, DC- Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE) today released the following statement celebrating our nation's veterans. "Today is an opportunity for us to recognize the 150,000 Nebraska veterans - and their families - who have served our nation with dignity and honor.
"Millions of men and women have offered their lives to guarantee our freedoms. These rights we enjoy cannot be maintained without effort. Every day, we should remember the sacrifices of our troops and those who love them.
"Today, and every day, we should remember those brave men and women who were sent to defend our freedoms, answered the call, and preserved our liberty." |
