"I believe the most important role of the federal government is to protect the citizens of the United States. The threat of terrorism is one of the most pressing matters facing our country and Congress must do everything it can to provide our military servicemen and women with the tools they need to help prevent terrorist attacks within the United States."

On Sunday, January 31, 2010 FOX News interviewed Senator Bennett, a member of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, on whether September 11 terrorist trials should be held on American soil. Senator Bennett says the trials should be held at Guantanamo Bay and must be differentiated from common criminal trials to keep America safe. You can click on the video above to watch the interview.
