Republican House Policy Committee Earns Congressional Gold Mouse Award

The Republican House Policy Committee has earned a Congressional Gold Mouse Award for one of the top leadership websites within the 111th Congress. The award was extended by The Congressional Management Foundation and its Partnership for a More Perfect Union.

United States Representative Thaddeus McCotter, Chair of the Republican House Policy Committee, expressed his “goal to continue making the web site even more citizen friendly,” and noted the web site might have won a Platinum Mouse “but (Rep. Cathy) McMorris Rodgers kept raising the bar.”

McCotter also offered a reason why the GOP House leadership websites earned Platinum and Gold Mouses but the Democrats’ only received Sliver and Bronze Mouses: “Nobody, especially mice, likes the Democrats always trying to take their cheese.”
