Tours of the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing

While on a tour of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing you will see millions of dollars being printed. This tour features the various steps of currency production, beginning with large, blank sheets of paper and ending with wallet-ready bills.

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing offers tours Monday through Friday and is closed on weekends, federal holidays and the week between Christmas and New Years. For groups of up to ten constituents my office is able to help you place a request for a tour. These tours are offered at the following times:

  • 8:15 a.m.
  • 8:45 a.m.
  • 4:00 p.m. (May through August only)
  • 4:15 p.m. (May through August only)
  • 4:30 p.m. (May through August only)
  • 4:45 p.m. (May through August only)

Additional tickets are also given away each day for people who do not have prior reservations. You can find information for these tickets on the Bureau of Engraving and Printing’s website.

*Please note that if you are not a resident of Pennsylvania’s 14th Congressional district your tour request will not be processed. To find out who your Representative is click here.
