Unemployment Resources

Our current economic challenges are tough on many Kansas families.  While there is no easy or immediate solution to losing a job, my office is here to support you by providing resources and tools that are available to assist individuals, families, and businesses.  I have developed this special Web site to put some of this information at your fingertips.  Below you will find links to information on unemployment assistance, employment training, federal job resources, eligibility for medical assistance programs, loan programs, and more.  Also, please do not hesitate to contact my Salina office (785) 309-0572 for assistance or with questions.

At this time of economic uncertainty, please know that I will continue to do everything I can to grow the economy and create jobs.  I am concerned with current proposals in Congress that will saddle employers with higher taxes, burdensome regulations, and restrictive mandates.  I believe that we create jobs and grow our economy by reining in skyrocketing deficit spending, allowing individuals and businesses to keep more of their hard-earned tax dollars, and encouraging American entrepreneurial ingenuity to lead the way.

Jerry
