My office is always accepting resumes from college students interested in interning in my Washington DC, Fresno, or Modesto offices.  By assisting the Congressman’s district staff, interns have the opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge about how a Congressional office provides constituent services and interacts with the community. Interns in the Washington, D.C. office will have an opportunity to learn about the legislative process and the federal government by working closely with the legislative, communications and constituent services staff members.

All internships are unpaid and those selected for my internship program are responsible for paying any travel or living expenses associated with their participation in the program.   I am happy to work with interns in any of my offices, and their academic institutions, to arrange for them to receive academic credit for their work.  My internship program is open to all college students, regardless of major.

Candidates interested in applying for my internship program should fill out completely and submit the form below.

Candidates with questions regarding Washington, DC internship should e-mail my Washington, DC Intern Coordinator. Candidates with inquiries regarding Fresno or Modesto internship opportunities please e-mail my District Office Intern Coordinator.
